This policy explains what information Indesign LLC ("Indesign", "we") collects through indesigntx.com, why, and what you can do about it. We keep it short because we collect very little.
What we collect
- Project request form. Your name, phone number, email (optional), project type and message. You choose what to write.
- Calls and emails. If you call or email us, we receive your number or address and what you tell us, like any phone call or email.
- Basic visit data. Like almost every website, our hosting provider records technical data when a page loads (such as IP address, browser type and the page requested) to deliver the site and keep it secure.
- Analytics. We use Google Analytics to count visits and see which pages are useful. It uses cookies and collects data such as approximate location, device type and pages viewed. We do not send your name, phone, email or message to Google Analytics.
We do not ask for payment details, government ID numbers or other sensitive information through this website. Please do not send them in the form.
How we use it
- To answer your request, talk through your project and prepare a proposal.
- To keep the website working, secure and free of spam.
- To understand, in aggregate, how the site is used so we can improve it.
We do not sell your information, share it for advertising, or use it to build marketing profiles.
Who helps us
A few service providers handle data for us only to run the site:
- Vercel hosts the website and processes the form.
- Resend delivers the form to our email inbox.
- Google provides our email inbox and Google Analytics.
We may also disclose information if the law requires it.
How long we keep it
Project requests stay in our email for as long as we need them to follow up with you and to keep normal business records. Analytics data is kept according to our Google Analytics retention setting and then deleted automatically. Hosting logs are kept for a short period by our host.
Your choices
- Access, correction or deletion. Email jemphys.indesign@gmail.com and we will answer within a reasonable time, and within 45 days where Texas law requires it.
- Analytics. If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track signal, the site does not load Google Analytics. You can also block cookies in your browser or install the Google Analytics opt-out add-on.
Security
The site is served only over encrypted connections (HTTPS). The form is checked on our server, sent straight to our inbox and not stored in a website database. No method of sending information over the internet is perfectly secure, so please do not send anything you would not share in a normal email.
Children
This website is meant for adults planning a project. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.
Changes
If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top of this page.
